Entry Requirements

International students must meet the following requirements to apply:

  • Be at least 18 years old and have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent. (This requirement is specific to Swanston Institute. For immigration-related English language requirements, please see the table below)
  • Participate in a course entry interview to confirm suitability and discuss any support needs.

Additional Requirements for Work Placement:

  • Police Check: A current Victoria Police Check is mandatory.
  • Vaccination Requirements: Evidence of vaccinations may be needed to participate in practical placements.

Note: Completing these requirements is essential to begin your work placement and ensure compliance with childcare regulations.
