Your Pathway to Success
With 120 hours of work placement, you’ll gain hands-on experience and practical skills. Graduates can pursue roles in aged care, residential care, and community care or continue their education with advanced qualifications like the Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
Course Details
- Duration: 52 weeks, including 40 weeks of training and 12 weeks of holidays.
- Delivery Mode: Classroom and workplace-based learning.
- Entry Requirements:
- 1. Minimum age: 18 years.
- 2. Year 12 completion or equivalent.
- 3. IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for English proficiency.
- 4. Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certification.
- 5. Police clearance and vaccination requirements for placements.

Placements require a valid police clearance and up-to-date vaccinations. Ensure these are completed prior to starting your placement to avoid delays.
