Entry Requirements

International students must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old and have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent. (This requirement is specific to Swanston Institute. For immigration-related English language requirements, please see the table below)
  • Participate in an entry interview to confirm course suitability and discuss any additional support needs.

Additional Requirements for Work Placement:

  • Police Check: A current national Police Check (VIC or NSW) is required.
  • Vaccination Requirements: Evidence of required vaccinations may be necessary for placement settings.

Note: Completing these requirements is essential before beginning the practical placement. Swanston Institute assists with placements and ensures students are prepared for this experience.
